Only host's webcam displayed in meeting's recording

Something has recently changed with BBB, in that only the webcam of the host is featured in the recorded video. It has done this with several of my class teams that have used BBB the last few days.  Users can see each other's webcams just fine during the meeting, but only the host is visible during playback. Any ideas what has happened?  Thanks!!

Are you using an external company to host your BigBlueButton sessions, or using demo.bigbluebutton.org, or using a version of BigBlueButton within Canvas or Moodle or some other LMS?

We are experiencing this issue also. We have built our own LMS which we use BBB with and its hosted by a third party IaaS provider.

Hi Phill,

Do you see the webcams of non-moderators stored as well?

What extra parameters do you (or your provider) pass?

For example there is this `userdata-bbb_record_video=` see https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/administration/customize/#media-parameters which might be at play...

Thanks for the response, it’s appreciated.

We have multiple bbb servers running 2.7.16 with scalelite load balancing. We’ve not made any changes to the stock version, aside from some standard configuration changes i.e. changing lock features, changing default PDF etc. 

I checked your link and it states that parameter only came in with 3.0, so it couldn’t be that could it?

I will check and see if the non-moderator webcams are being stored and come back to you.
