WebRTC Error 1004 (Incompatible SDP)

Hello,

I'm still getting this problem. We have about 10 conferences per week on our server and would like to fix this asap.

I get this problem on 2.0 on your server and on our own server at my home IP.

On my work I only get this problem on our own server.

Some other people do not have this problem.

And in 0.9 I never had this problem.

All this applies to Chrome. Firefox is not giving any problems.

Are these people outside your firewall at work? Anything different between the people where it works and those that don't work?

Yes, we have an A at ssllabs.

I haven't setup a firewall as far as I know.

For now, my home and workplace are the only places where this happens.

It's a good bet there is a firewall at play. You could pretty much confirm if you have a laptop that you use at home, get the 1004 error, and then connect that laptop via a different network and see if the error still occurs.

To confirm, regardless of the internet, you are getting the 1004 error. Could you try it with using internet on your phone with

https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/

and let us know if you get the same error.

Could you try connecting to the audio on demo.bigbluebutton.org and when you see the 1004 error copy the browser console (F12) and send me the logs. I can try to look through it to see if there's anything strange in your SDP.

Thanks for sending the log. I think it's your candidate list that FreeSWITCH doesn't like. All of your offered IPs are either IPv6 or private IPs (192.168.x.x). I don't know what, if anything, we can do to mitigate or work around the problem, but that's almost 100% the reason for it kicking back an error.
