How stream my own video file with red5 server installed by bbb

Hi,

during install, BBB seems install red5 streaming server with an specific config,

How can i use this server for stream my own video files (not a bbb record).

red5 admin interface sems doesnt work with this config
 oflaDemo seems not present.
i try to put video file in red5 video folder but it doesn't work
thx.

Hi markham89,

Recommend you start with a stock version of red5 and get the video streaming working to your satisfaction.  That way, you don't have to initially worry about the BigBlueButton configuration changes we made.

For use of red5 as a stand-alone streaming server, check out the  documentation at the red5 site


and the red5 mailing list



Once you have the red5 server working your way, such as with the oflaDemo, you can apply the changes to the red5 server running within BigBlueButton.
