When I start a webinar I only get the opportunity to speak a few words and then all audio cuts out.  I have only one participant and when they leave and join again it works for about 10 seconds.

The audio test at the start works ok on both machines.

any help deeply appreciated

Martin,

To test your server,  open up a second browser tab and join the room again,  connect audio,  now you should be able to hear yourself.  see if you stay connected and here yourself fine.

You also can to a sudo bbb-conf --debug to look at logs if you suspect the server has issues.

regards,
Stephen

Hi Martin,

Is this with your own BigBlueButton Server?  Can you try it against our demo server at

and let us know if you get the same results.

Fred,

I was accessing the BBB through moodle when I go directly I have sound on two machines.  On the third machine the mic was working but there was no sound in the ear piece. this was setup in Linux and I found an option within the sound configuration to change the output device and it worked.  I am having the same problem on a windows machine but cant seem to find where to change the ouput device for sound - any ideas?? the only option I can see is in control panel - sound- playback tab (I think you can set the default output device here, the only problem is it doesn't seem to work)
