Greetings!

I'm facing problem while installing bbb using the script bbb-install.sh behind a firewall.
I have followed the steps described here http://docs.bigbluebutton.org/2.2/configure-firewall.html#Configure_Firewall_ and I had success during firewall tests.

I installed greenlight using the same script adding -g on the command, but when I login to greenlight I got this error :-( !

Sorry for my English...

Can someone help???

Best regards

this is beacuse you need to configure secret

see section below on https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/greenlight/gl-install.html

Setting BigBlueButton CredentialsAnchor link for: setting bigbluebutton credentials

By default, your Greenlight instance will automatically connect to test-install.blindsidenetworks.com if no BigBlueButton credentials are specified. To set Greenlight to connect to your BigBlueButton server (the one it’s installed on), you need to give Greenlight the endpoint and the secret. To get the credentials, run:

sudo bbb-conf --secret

In your .env file, set the BIGBLUEBUTTON_ENDPOINT to the URL, and set BIGBLUEBUTTON_SECRET to the secret.

Thank you Kaleem!

took this care and I already changed the credentials, and even so I continue with the same error.

Can I share my .env file?

nope, dont share your env as this will push your secret to public domain.

run bbb-conf --secret

note down url and secret   (case sensitive, any spaces could cause unwanted issues)

run below commands

cd ~/greenlight

docker run --rm bigbluebutton/greenlight:v2 bundle exec rake secret

now edit your env file and copy URL and SECRET
make sure they are matching and no spaces, no need to put " or ' in secret

now run
docker run --rm --env-file .env bigbluebutton/greenlight:v2 bundle exec rake conf:check

and see what results you get, do you get pass?

regards,
Kaleem

ok, so did u change  SECRET KEY BASE?

u shouldnt have.
did u only change

BIGBLUEBUTTON_ENDPOINT=
BIGBLUEBUTTON_SECRET=

you can try resetting secret key base

run  docker run --rm bigbluebutton/greenlight:v2 bundle exec rake secret         to get new secret and copy paste in to env file

then run docker run --rm --env-file .env bigbluebutton/greenlight:v2 bundle exec rake conf:check
