Default presentation

Any tip on how to change the default (fresh install) presentation in 0.8-4 beta ?

I mean this one that gets inserted as soon as you enter for the first time, i know i can preupload a presentation each time i reate a new room, but i would like to change that one for localization purposes.

I have seen:

/var/www/bigbluebutton-default/default.pdf
/var/www/bigbluebutton-default/default.ppt

Tried to rename them to check but seems to have no effect

/var/bigbluebutton/blank/blank-slide.swf
/var/bigbluebutton/blank/blank-thumb.png

Same as above, and i understand those are really "blank" for using when a conversion fails...

Any idea on how to setup my own slide?

Hi MarcosBL,

See

  /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/bigbluebutton/WEB-INF/classes/bigbluebutton.properties

and modify

# Default Uploaded presentation file

beans.presentationService.defaultUploadedPresentation=${bigbluebutton.web.serverURL}/default.pdf

You can then restart BigBlueButton

  sudo bbb-conf --restart

and whatever file you specified should now be the default presentation.

Already tried to modify that file but forgot to restart BBB, because i thought it will download the file each time i start a room
