Hi
After installing the Bigblubuton 2.2 beta was greenlight working properlyat xxxxx.com/b

But after you follow the steps to install the Greenlight using this link 
stop my site and a 404 error appears
404 Not Found
nginx/1.10.3 (Ubuntu)

How did you install the first time?  Was it using bbb-install.sh?

Is the docker container for Greenlight running?

How did you install the first time?  Was it using bbb-install.sh? 
Yes you send me to create new install (  bbb-install.sh )
Is the docker container for Greenlight running?

It looks like the docker container is running.  Can you post the output of the command

  sudo cat /etc/bigbluebutton/nginx/greenlight.nginx

That looks good -- so Greenlight is listening to port 5000 and the redirect is in place.  Can you next run the following command

  sudo tail -f /var/log/nginx/error.log

to monitor the nginx log file for errors.  Then try accessing Greenlight again and let us know if any errors are printed afterwards.

Hi Ragab,

We can see the error -- nginx isn't able to connect to 127.0.0.1:5000, which is the port that Greenlight should be listening on.

Can you try the following

1.  Restart Greenlight, see


2.  Verity the Greenlight configuration looks good, see



And then try accessing Greenlight again.

Hi Ragab,

The error message shows that the secret_key_base is not of type string.  Can you double-check your .env file to make sure that SECRET_KEY_BASE has a value, then restart Greenlight and try again.

It looks like you are using the test-install credentials, which is really only for testing integrations, not for production use.

We would recommend you setup your own BigBlueButton server (which I think you are doing in another thread).  Recommend using bbb-install.sh, see


After you have your own BigBlueButton 2.2, you can customize it.  We provide lots of documentation on this, for example to change the Favicon, see
