the html5client Not start and 404 Not Found

Hi Fred and All BBB Developers 

today I do a fresh install of BBB on ubuntu 18.04 with latest Version Of BigBlueButton 2.3.0-beta-2 and Greenlight. release-2.8.2.2

with bbb-install.sh

But before that I ran this commands 

#1 to set TimeZone

dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

#2 Check for Update and Upgrade

apt-get update -y && apt-get upgrade -y && apt-get dist-upgrade -y

#3 install English language pack

apt install -y language-pack-en && update-locale LANG=en_US.UTF-8

#4 install tomcat8 

sudo apt-get install -y tomcat8

#5 install nginx full version

sudo apt-get install -y nginx-full

#6 run this line to install curl haveged and openjdk-8

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install curl wget net-tools software-properties-common haveged apt-transport-https openjdk-8-jdk -y

after that I ran the bbb-install.sh 

wget -qO- https://ubuntu.bigbluebutton.org/bbb-install.sh | bash -s -- -a -w -v bionic-230 -s my.bbbserver.com -e mye...@gmail.com -g

after that some error came up :

# Error: Unable to connect to the FreeSWITCH Event Socket Layer on port 8021

#

# Error: FreeSWITCH failed to start with SETSCHEDULER error, see

#

I tried to solve it by reading the Troubleshooting Page for this errors :

the problem is 

I can't start the room After creation when I click start 

the html5client Not start and 404 Not Found

the Error 404 Not Found when using Demo Meeting like the attached Gif Image Or When click start room from Greenlight 

systemctl daemon-reload

sudo bbb-conf --setip my.bbbserver.com

sudo bbb-conf --restart

sudo bbb-conf --check

bbb-conf --status

please provide me with solution for this problem

for your notice the solutions above are working fine when installing BBB on ubuntu 16.04 

But I don't Know what to do to make it working on ubuntu 18.04

I Know that BigBlueButton 2.3.0-beta-2 Version not the stable final release.

Hi Hasan,

Did you really start with fresh ubuntu 18.04 and without any previous greenlight directorys ?

If not, please provide a docker ps command output to see if the greenlight_db_1 container starts fine with db data and postgres:13.2-alpine.

If you skip (1) to (8) and just install BigBlueButton 2.3-beta ('-v bionic-230') and greenlight ('-g') with bbb-install.sh, does it?

If the HTML5 client is not loading, it looks like bbb-html5 process is not running. What is the output of

  systemctl | grep bbb-html5

  bbb-conf --status

Hi Fred thank you for your reply
when I install direct after login to clean ubuntu 18.04 server

wget -qO- https://ubuntu.bigbluebutton.org/bbb-install.sh | bash -s -- -a -w -v bionic-230 -s my.bbbserver.com -e mye...@gmail.com -g

the install Hangs and a note  came up to "  apt --fix-broken install "

and after I ran " apt --fix-broken install "
i ran bbb-install.sh again but After finish some strange Errors came up like
tomcat8 not running
because of that i ran the commands as i described in my original message

Hello Hasan, 

I had exactly the same problems with my Bigbluebutton 2.3 installation as you described them .. But with your help and the help of Fred I have now got a room running. Unfortunately I also have WebSocket 1002 error. All attempts to fix this error were unsuccessful, presumably because of the help on Obtain older versions of Bigbluebutton. systemctl status freeswitch works curl --trace-ascii - -k https: // EXTERNAL-IP-ADDRESS: 443 / bigbluebutton / api also works. Are there perhaps other solutions that were not mentioned here in this group and also not in the Bigbluebutton documentation?
