Our language school is quite happy with BigBlueButton, Moodle and the integration between them.
Moodle is a full-blown LMS used by a range of organizations from very large universities to small schools. It is open source, of course. You can define all your courses there and have a catalog. There are many plugins available to allow online sign-ups and payments (though some of those must be purchased).
Moodle’s standard theme is responsive, so the functionality on a full-scale monitor is also available and easy to use on a tablet or mobile device.
A class meeting can be set up in Moodle and the students can use that to authenticate straight into BBB. Again, the integration is really well done. We also use a Moodle email plug-in so scheduling and sending links are done from Moodle.
At the same time, some students do not need an LMS (e.g. one on one tutoring), so we skip setting them up in Moodle and instead do everything using Greenlight as the entry into BigBlueButton. It is easy to set them up there and ensure they are authenticated properly.
Moodle supports a variety of roles – the normal ones include Site Admin, Manager, Teacher, Non-Editing Teacher (assistant), Student. You can configure permissions as needed. We don’t allow guests to access courses, only the course catalog and sales info. We require they be upgraded to the student role before they can access courses. So I am not quite sure what you meant by “it treats guest as user”. There is a huge difference between guest and user in the standard Moodle and you have full control in any case.
But there are other good LMS’ out there. I am personally taking a course that uses Canvas, and it is also quite good. As others have pointed out, BigBlueButton has integration with a number of good LMS’ that are out there.

https. I don’t recall any problems. I had not made any mods to Moodle source or their css files. I notice they have some recommendations at https://docs.moodle.org/310/en/Transitioning_to_HTTPS
I wish I could be of more help.
