Only Welcome to BigBlueButton after 2.6 clean installation

Hi,

After clean installation on Ubuntu 20.04.6 i see only the welcome screen in the middle of the screen.

No # Potential problems in bbb-conf --check

No errors in bbb-conf --status

Hi,

this is expected behavior. BBB is a "backend", which means you need a frontend to interact with.

Please read further about Greenlight and how to set it up.

Your BBB instance is working fine.

If you want to test it before installing Greenlight use API Mate.

"not working" can mean many things.
Logs? Errors? What is not working exactly?

Hi,

I believe that i am doing something wrong with  the greenlight configuration. 

As is already said the greenlight is up but i believe its not communicate with the bbb or not forward to the bbb.

Which Logs you need from me that will help us to solve it?

Hi,

"the greenlight is up": are you completely sure GL is up? What is the output of docker container ls -a?

"i believe its not cummunicate": If you "believe" it means you're not sure. Please take a look at your logs to see where the problem might be.

Hi,

well, your GLv3 container is up and running as well as the postgres and redis containers.

In your nginx bigbluebutton config file there is a landing page under "location /". However, you have to check that a redirection to the GLv3 container exists. This should be in the /etc/bigbluebutton/nginx directory. Look for a file called greenlight.nginx or something like that. It is there that you can check the redirection.

After checking the file /etc/nginx/sites-available/bigbluebutton from working bbb server i add the right landing page.
