I moved the mouse: Warning: found 'Nil' message in recording processing logs. Possible GEM errors

Hello again!

I've bbb-conf --restart the BBB server some times, while making changes to the text.

The last time: While I was running bbb-conf --restart,

on the browser Greenlight was open on the recordings page.

I moved the mouse over the elements of that site.

When bbb-conf --restart was finished, I got this error message since then:

The only changes which I made before bbb-conf --restart was defaultWelcomeMessage and defaultWelcomeMessageFooter

I've changed the values back with a restart, but it didn't help.

I think it is as I said: Maybe its not an real error. Maybe only a thing in the processing log. I've moved the mouse over the recording page elements while bbb-conf was --restart(ing)

Can you tell me how I find out if everything is working as it should?

Can you help me to fix this message?

(P.S.: I've upgraded with bbb-install.sh 2.6 to 2.7 yesterday. The 5-6 times I've used bbb-conf --restart for text changes: There was no error, only a tomcat message)

I've made a recording.

After that under "recordings" I found only the recording in the "presentation" format

After waiting, there is no "video" format

Maybe its more than a mouse-movement problem while I made bbb-conf --restart

(P.S.: As I said - I made bbb-conf --restart severall times before. Only on the time, when I moved the mouse, the warning appeared the 1st time. Since then, I got always this warning)

In the 1st row in /usr/local/bigbluebutton/core/scripts/bigbluebutton.yml stands:

bbb_version: '2.6.1'

And downside in the file there was:

steps:
  archive: "sanity"
  sanity: "captions"
  captions: "process:presentation"
  "process:presentation": "publish:presentation"

- without video!

I will follow now the instructions from Server Customization | BigBlueButton to re-enable video.

And I hope, I will fix the warning with that.

Nearly all steps are done.

I don't find the file /usr/local/bigbluebutton/core/scripts/screenshare.yml

There other files are there

- /usr/local/bigbluebutton/core/scripts/bigbluebutton.yml

- /usr/local/bigbluebutton/core/scripts/presentation.yml

and I've filled them with the right information (uncomment mp4 and add video) 

I've systemctl restart bbb-rap-resque-worker.service and made a recording.

Its available in Greenlight with "presentation" format and "video" format.

But when I watch the "video" format, I only see my camera and sound.

The warning is still there, when I make bbb-conf --restart

I will now make a snapshot of the server and then I will try

apt-get install bbb-playback-formatname

Finaly.

I don't know exactly what "Warning: found 'Nil' message in recording processing logs.  Possible GEM errors" means

(especially "Nil" and "GEM")

I thought its about recordings because of my research

Could it be that the warning will never disappear?

I mean: Then he found something in the log, he will find it from now for forever, because its in the log? :D

apt-get install --reinstall bbb-playback-video did not help

/usr/local/bigbluebutton/core/scripts/screenshare.yml is still missing.

I set back to snapshot

Before I wanted to set back to snapshot,

bbb-conf --restart was freezed at

Then I've restartet ssh and bbb-conf --restart still says

It seems like everything is working

I made a new recording, with a drawing on the presentation and a message in the chat.

Then the presentation with my pen and the chat was showed under the recordings/"video"

I hope I can ignore that warning? :D
