New BBB Setup

Hi, I am totally new to BBB & Linux, and im totally stumped as to what to do.

 

I have followed your installation guide, during the installation I could not get the Demos to install.

 

I am trying to use BBB behind a proxy, so I have done all the nessacery settings for the proxy, I can get on the internet.

 

I wanted to use your Virtual machine you offer but we do not use VMware we use Hyper-V.

 

Anything simple I should be looking at?  or any guidance you can give me to find what is going on?

In order to see what your problem is, it would be really helpful if you
could include the command that you're running and the error output that
you're seeing. You haven't really provided enough information here for
me to to more than make a wild guess at what's going wrong.

Hi Calvin,

 

Sorry, that was maybe a slight rant.

 

Although I have already ran sudo apt-get install bigbluebutton things still arn't working.

 

When I have tried to run the cmd again I get error 1.jpg as attached.

 

Then I run sudo apt-get -f install as it suggested and then I get error 2.jpg as attached.

Hi Guga,

 

It appears I have now got it all working.

I have managed to use the VM that is provided.

 

The net thing I want to do is purge the demo, so whats the next step after that? impletment with Moodle? or do I have to do any config?

So as Part of my BBB installation I tested the system with a few people in our office. One thing we could not do is get a presentation to upload to present.

 

We are behind a Proxy I have seen a few post regarding this, is it because of the proxy I can't get a presentation to upload?

Currently, if you are behind a HTTP proxy, it will prevent users from uploading a presentation.   See
