I have installed the new version v3.0.4 and I notice increased server resources.

I am attaching 2 diagrams where screenshot1 shows the server I have version v3.0.4 and it has much increased resources compared to screenshot2 where I have version v2.7.16

I have opened a video conference on each server without having activated the camera and microphone and the resources of each server are shown in the screenshots I am attaching.

In fact, in screenshot1 that I have of version v3.0.4, the user seems to have increased significantly.

I am attaching a screenshot and explanation. Will this be improved in a next version? Can you answer me? thank you very much

I have opened a video conference on the server that I have version V3.0.4 and I have the microphone and camera enabled and the resources consumed by the server with one user connected are very high.

I am attaching a relevant screenshot showing the high server resources and specific user.

This is a problem as if with one user the user is at 43 with more the server resources will fill up very quickly, unlike version v2.7.16 where we did not have such high resource consumption.

Can you inform me that this is something that will be fixed in a next version?

thank you very much

Hi!

I am flipping through the screenshots you've shared and am not sure I am seeing the entire picture.
I see that both systems are vastly idle (cpu wise). Even then, the 2.7 (presumably) Screenshot 2 seems really low in usage.

Would you be interested in comparing (let's say) a session with 10 users on each of the servers, with screenshot of `top` or `htop` so we see the CPU load per process and the 5 min average system load?

Other than that, system load varies wildly depending on what happens in the sessions. But what I have observed when testing 3.0 under load is that the client is way more responsive in sessions of large numbers of users (200+) and that in general I see better support for large sessions on BBB 3.0 than 2.7.

The architecture and frameworks have changed quite a bit between 2.7 and 3.0 so I am not sure that comparing the two systems at 0 or 1 users "load" will give conclusive result.
