After checking out the HDX6000, it looks like a stand-alone telepresence solution. As such, it would use different protocols than BigBlueButton and would not be compatible. BigBlueButton does not support H.232.
If you wish to broadcast audio/video from a classroom using BigBlueButton, your best approach is to use a computer in the classroom running BigBlueButton. If the classroom is equipped with microphones, then patch in a feed to the computer's audio input.
Alternatively, you could setup BigBlueButton to accept incoming phone calls (using a SIP trunk provider) and then use an off-the-shelf speaker phone. You can also check out USB-based speaker phones, see
Video is usually relatively straightforward as the webcams on a laptop are sufficient for broadcasting video.
