What platform is your bbb running on (does not seem to be ubuntu?) and when you say sip server registration; were you trying to integrate an external asterisks box or the asterisks bundled with BBB?

It is running on ubuntu 10.04 64 bit server installation.
I am using asterisk bundled with BBB and using konference module.

I played with asterisk files + bigbluebutton files related to asterisk
settings.
Now, I am trying to resolve what went wrong.

I got a DID number pointing to my asterisk server and trying to test
it with asterisk.
I went through so much search on google and bigbluebutton discussion
groups
No luck... Unable to get asterisk up and running.
Still trying.

Thx

Recommend you download the BigBlueButton VM and do a file-by-file
comparison between the VM (which works) and your setup. You need to
switch the VM from FreeSWITCH to Asterisk. See

http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/wiki/InstallationUbuntu#Switching_between_Asterisk_and_FreeSWITCH

Once you get your setup working again, you can make step-by-step changes.

Re-installed ubuntu server 10.04 and asterisk bundled with BBB.
Default Microphone and voice conferencing operation is normal(working
fine) now.
Backed up old /etc/asterisk folder and will compare what went wrong
that disabled voice conference.
Will try asterisk configuration again later
Thnx
