Recordings Not showing up on greenlight dashboard

Hey all,

I need an urgent help-

The recordings after 2nd march are not visible on dashboard so I ran this-

bbb-record -list --list

I have shared the response in pictures and recordings after 2nd march are not published.

any ideas how to fix this?

Hi there,

We don't have enough information to help you.  What version of BigBlueButton are you running?  Did any automatic upgrades occur on March 2nd?

Basically, the more information you can share that would help others reproduce the issue, the more others can help.

BBB version is- 2.4.0

yes, My teammate pushed changes on the server on 2nd March. Maybe that's when this issue occurred.

Is there any way to reprocess the unpublished recordings?

I tried using this- 

recording that is unpublished-

b346ecbc7166791ebcc5f2c9f76720f48e1c05e5-1678647480973  Sun Mar 12 18:58:00 UTC 2023  X                  5                         

command to rebuild- 

sudo bbb-record --rebuild    b346ecbc7166791ebcc5f2c9f76720f48e1c05e5-1678647480973      

Will this publish the recording or is there some other way?

and I have one more query-

I ran this command-

sudo du -h /var/log/ | grep '[0-9]\+G\>' | sort -hr

and response I got-

27G /var/log/
20G /var/log/bigbluebutton
1.9G /var/log/journal/854f5123163a487a9ce98b5616532011
1.9G /var/log/journal
1.4G /var/log/nginx

How can I free up the space from the log folder without causing any issue?

I tried to explore this folder for my latest recording- /var/bigbluebutton/recording/raw/76ec9048cd93da01c01ef781e111888cdb625d22-1678685675234 but it is empty.

I have fixed the issue with recordings. There was one 2 hour recording that was causing an issue for some reason so had to restart bbb whenever the error came now it seems to be working fine.

I still have one thing to ask-

sudo du -h /var/log/ | grep '[0-9]\+G\>' | sort -hr

and response I got-

27G /var/log/
20G /var/log/bigbluebutton
1.9G /var/log/journal/854f5123163a487a9ce98b5616532011
1.9G /var/log/journal
1.4G /var/log/nginx

20G is occupied by /var/log/bigbluebutton alone

How can I free up the space from the log folder without causing any issue?

Take a look inside of

  /var/log/bigbluebutton

do you have a 

  /var/log/bigbluebutton/presentation

folder?
