BBB administration - many noob questions

Hello,

I'm Vincent and the company I'm working for is selling e-learning courses.

Offering live virtual classrooms is an important feature of our products and we have many virtual classrooms every week (using Livestorm and Zoom), with several teachers and many students.
I have tested BigBlueButton and I think it's a wonderful tool for our teachers however I have a few noob questions without answer after my tests with the demo.

1/ Administration
Right now we have one person who's in charge of scheduling the virtual classrooms and creating the events (Livestorm and Zoom ).
Is it possible with BBB to have one or two administrators with higher rights who can create virtual rooms and then schedule and program the classrooms for our teachers ?

And is there an add on or a plugin designed to send the classroom links to our students ?

2/ Records and video on demand
It is important for us to record our virtual classrooms : our students must be able to watch a course when they want.

Is it possible to have an automated process : recording the course, saving the file on a cloud storage, or directly to a video solution like Vimeo ?

3/ Data collection
May last question is about data collection : we need to save connexion data for we need to have proofs of our students' attendance. What are the solution for data collection proposed by BBB ? Vitual  attendance sheet, time of connection...

5/ Testing  
Is there a way to try more deeply BBB in order to check the administration possibilities ?

Hi Vincent,

I'll try to answer your questions:

1/ Yes, it's possible. The "addon" you might need is Greenlight. It's actually not an addon but a frontend to BBB. See this link for more info

2/ Yes, it's possible to automate the process. See this link for more info

3/ BBB has a learning dashboard

4/ ???
5/ The best way is to setup a VM and try it for yourself.

And reading your questions you should really do this, because all the answers come from the BBB documentation (docs.bigbluebutton.org)
