Upgrade mongodb

When i tried

sudo apt-get update 

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

I had error with Upgrade mongodb

Err:8 http://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu xenial/mongodb-org/3.4 Release.gpg The following signatures were invalid: KEYEXPIRED 1515625755 Hit:9 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-backports InRelease Reading package lists... Done W: An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not up dated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://repo.mongodb. org/apt/ubuntu xenial/mongodb-org/3.4 Release: The following signatures were inv alid: KEYEXPIRED 1515625755 W: Failed to fetch http://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu/dists/xenial/mongodb-org/3 .4/Release.gpg The following signatures were invalid: KEYEXPIRED 1515625755 W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.




How can i solve the problem?

Solved

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv 0C49F3730359A14518585931BC711F9BA15703C6

I found this command that updates all expired keys in ubuntu:

sudo apt-key list | \
 grep "expired: " | \
 sed -ne 's|pub .*/\([^ ]*\) .*|\1|gp' | \
 xargs -n1 sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys

Run this first,
then sudo apt-get update
and then sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

It worked for me without any errors.

That is a great find!  Can somebody add that to the troubleshooting doc page?
