Hi friends,
Some ports (like 1935) are closed via many service providers in my
country and my clients can't connect to bbb server while it wants to
connect to port 1935. So I want to change RTMP port from 1935 to
another port (for example 1456). How can I do this?
thank you

Hello alejandro,
Don't know if this helps a little found where to change red5 port, but yet to find where to tell BBB the new RED5 port. Share if you finally get through =)

root@resource:~# cat /usr/share/red5/conf/red5.properties
# Socket policy
policy.host=0.0.0.0
policy.port=843

# HTTP
http.host=0.0.0.0
http.port=5080
https.port=8443

# RTMP
rtmp.host=0.0.0.0
rtmp.port=1935      port to change
rtmp.io_threads=16
rtmp.connect_threads=4
rtmp.send_buffer_size=271360
rtmp.receive_buffer_size=65536
rtmp.ping_interval=1000
rtmp.max_inactivity=60000
rtmp.tcp_nodelay=true

Hello Alejandro,

What i provided was 50% of the solution, if you run "sudo /usr/share/red5/conf/red5.properties" and change the default port as i described earlier. Then go restart BBB, you will observe that bbb will report it can't connect to RED5 which means the port change was actually correct. The task/puzzle now is to find where/how to tell BBB the new port for Red5 which is the other 50%  :=)
I am sure there should be a way to tell BBB to use the new port just that i have not really had time to dig well into bbb config.

Hope what i have said makes a little sense.

You might have some luck adding the port to the domain names in the client's config.xml file. So wherever you see a domain name starting with rtmp:// , add :<port> to the domain. This may work, but it hasn't been tested.
