Hi,

I had installed BBB 0.9 and it is working in flash. I want to use webRTC for communication. But when am selecting Microphone for join the audio from pop up , am getting WebRTC audio failure,

Detected the following webRTC issue: error 1002: could not make a websocket connection.

I had already gone through this link
 https://groups.google.com/d/msg/bigbluebutton-setup/8xq6gNhJ5mI/FQHbt7hsAq8J

Iam not behind a HTTP proxy.....there is no NAT setup....

When am monitoring the network...I find that 403 error for ws when am selecting Microphone for join the audio from pop up...

I have a couple of doubts...............

(1)  we need to remove flash entirely from the browser in order to the proper working of webRTC ?
(2) Is there any port dependency for webRTC ?
(3) Is it possible to start a session from a client side browser without making any configuration / installation, when my server is running in an other system ?

regards,

Ajith

No.  If there user is using FireFox or Chrome, BigBlueButton will attempt to connect via WebRTC first and, if unsuccessful, fall back to use Flash.

I think you are asking if it's possible for the user's browser to send API request to create and join a meeting.  The answer is yes, but you definitely don't want to do this in production as the user's browser would need the shared secret to create API calls.

Here are examples of how to create API calls within the browser

(again, you do not want to do this in production).

Regards,... Fred
