After SSL setup getting a new warning

Hello,
I just want to make sure this warning is normal after going through the install > SSL/HTTPS setup:
** Potential problems described below **/usr/bin/host: couldn't get address for '$request_uri': not found# IP does not match:# IP from ifconfig: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX \\redacted but the IP address of the server# /etc/nginx/sites-available/bigbluebutton: bigbluebutton.domain.tld$request_uri/usr/bin/bbb-conf: line 1095: [: bigbluebutton.domain.tld: binary operator expected
I have gone through the steps twice to make sure I didn't miss anything.
I also have the client check installed (for now) and got the following:
Again, not sure if that is normal for a basic config I just want to check before I release the LTI information to my Blackboard admin and tell him to "Go nuts"
The demo page worked without issue before I removed it (Confident that if I added it back it would work again after a bbb-conf --restart; but I can add it back to test if you think it is necessary)

Hi Nick,
I think your good -- the warning about IP mismatch is just a warning. Whenever you configure the server with a FQDN, you'll always see that warning.
As for the check page, it looks like it's having troubles tunneling through port 80. Can you check your nginx logs at
/var/log/nginx/bigbluebutton.access.log
for whether the RTMPT requests are coming in as http or https.

The GET/POST isn't showing the protocol, but the server is giving a 400 error on the attempts to tunnel by the check page. Try this, open
and check the network tab in your browser, you can see if it complains about sending HTTP requests when the page was loaded via HTTPS. It would mean that the server isn't allowing tunneling (as the check shows).
Most users using BigBlueButton would *not* be tunneling (they would connect directly through RTMP) so they would never see any issues. However, if a user was behind a firewall that blocked port 1935 (RTMP), their client would not be able to fall back to tunneling.

Yes I noticed a couple of http requests which normally wouldn't be a problem but we had a modification in /etc/nginx/sites-available/bigbluebutton that caused all of this. A rule to force everything over https (typical for static websites and other webtools that require input based authentication; just the standard for us to do this when we standup a site). But I am assuming for this application we are okay to remove this modification and just point our LMS to the https version we created and let some of this traffic over standard port 80.

I am going to just assume this platform is not going to work properly in every instance with a http -> https rewrite rule on top of it.

It's not a configuration that we've tested before. Opened an issue to track this
Your suggestion about a rewrite rule is good ... need to dig further into why this isn't working.

Now that we have the other issue resolved (seperate thread regarding tomcat config issues) I did notice that when you record a presentation that when it appears the presentation is linked via http instead of https (again because we cannot use the rewrite rule since it appears to break RTMPT support.
Just wondering if there has been any progress on getting bbb to work with a rewrite rule as we would really like to force any potential linkage over the https protocol.

Further information:
This only happens when we are not directly connected to this server (which is behind a firewall) so we're tunneling. When we connect to it from a machine behind the firewall we do not get these warnings. Still, for clients that connect and do have to tunnel (due to their various setups) it would be nice to get the rewrite rule working properly with this solution.
