i got a 'gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.' error, need help

As in the very early stage of installation 

I type

wget http://ubuntu.bigbluebutton.org/bigbluebutton.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -

and i get an error said 

'gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.'

I'm installing bbb on Linus 10.04 server LTS

can anyone help?

What do you get when you do the following command

  wget http://ubuntu.bigbluebutton.org/bigbluebutton.asc -O-
