Hi Team,

I am successfully using bigbluebutton since 0.90. I had no issues on physical server where it is pointing to one static IP. Today, I tried an installation on Google Cloud Platform and was successful installing bbb.1.0.

After installation I also configured my ssl certs. I am able to login to bigbluebutton using https://bbb.livemeet.in/client/BigBlueButton.html. After logged in, I am getting an error https://gyazo.com/dc8f5f8715aeec7f28e4ab88ff202286.

I tried to follow all the steps as per the document http://docs.bigbluebutton.org/install/install.html. I am still confused and unable to resolve the issue. When I am trying to check using https://bbb.livemeet.in/check/, I am getting the response as you see it on this link https://gyazo.com/0d6f0a9b00844158ae020f507e8c4f35

What else do I need to produce to resolve this issue?

Regards,
Su Ga

Hi Surendra,

It sounds like your server has an internal/external IP address.  For more help, see

Yes Fred. Thank you for prompt response!!

I followed the same link from the support docs.

I removed this line: <X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="set" data="local_ip_v4=xxx.yyy.zzz.qqq"/> from /opt/freeswitch/conf/vars.xml

Added EXTERNAL_IP as per the link.

Edited the values in /opt/freeswitch/conf/sip_profiles/external.xml from to to as per the link.

Edited the values in /usr/share/red5/webapps/sip/WEB-INF/bigbluebutton-sip.properties as per link.

Changed the EXTERNAL_IP in /etc/bigbluebutton/nginx/sip.nginx

All these ports are open:

  • TCP - 5066
  • UDP - 16384 to 32768
  • TCP - 7443 (if you have HTTPS enabled)
Please let me know what else do i need to produce to fix this issue.

Regards,
Su Ga
