Greetings...
I have installed BBB 2 weeks ago.
The thing is, today it started normally, I have done some tests,
but the ubuntu asked me for updates on BBB, and also
I installed a Virtual Machine cause I need to to some things on PHP...
And affraid to use the ports that BBB uses so I do this...
now this messages come when a access the BigBlueButton Demo (at
localhost)

Join a demo meeting - Then entered my name - pressed join button
Navigator return this:

HTTP Status 404 - /demo/demo1.jsp

type Status report

message /demo/demo1.jsp

description The requested resource (/demo/demo1.jsp) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/6.0.24

So , I don't know what to do.

Fonso,

Did you run the command:
sudo apt-get install bbb-demo

If you don't remember, you can go to your tomcat6 webapps directory (/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps) and look for a folder called "demo". From your error message the demo folder probably doesn't exist. If it isn't there try the previous command.

If the command fails you might need to run:
sudo apt-get purge bbb-demo
sudo apt-get install bbb-demo

The folder demo didn't have anything...
I runned the install bbb-demo command,
but says that is the last version and no need of downloading another
one.

Thanks Chad I will do the purge command...
The demos dissapeared.
I confess I have maked some tests at the dir
/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps
so maybe it did something

Now let's install again.

Now let's go back to class, I got here only to see the reply
Huge fan of all of yours.
Thanks again
