Hello. Installed everything as the documentation for version 1.1. That only did not try :( doesn't want to work with WebRTC and that's it... browser Version tested on friends working online and there's a microphone there. It is said that when you use Firefox work available webrtc and http. Tell me what should I do to solve?

Are you able to connect to https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ and share your microphone?

Check through the firewall settings at

Unfortunately, I can't read Russian.  Are there any other people in this forum that can read Russian and could help?

Regards,... Fred

to connect to https://demo.bigbluebutton.org Firefox -- bad, Chrome -- good. Netcat test on all ports is positive. Maybe if you use http, you cannot use webrtc in new versions of Firefox browsers? Online translator of course translates not exactly but you get the idea. In the pictures the point I think is also clear.

Hi Алексей,

What version of FireFox are you using?

To everyone else, we are very interested if anyone has any issues connecting using WebRTC audio + FireFox on https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/?

Regards,... Fred

If our demo server doesn't work with your Firefox install either it might be something specific to your install that is causing issues. I'm not aware of any extensions or configuration settings that would cause a conflict, but that's the only thing I can think of. The demo server is on HTTPS and definitely works. There's other bugs with Firefox that can pop up if you leave it running for a long time, or if you try to connect with WebRTC in two different tabs, but those issues all show up after the microphone has been allowed.

Calculate Linux 17.6 XFCE

Not understand Http in Firefox should work with WebRTC? In a local network with a self-signed SSL should work with WebRTC?

Hi,

We would recommend using a properly signed certificate (such as from LetsEncrypt).

For what it's worth, FireFox 56 got released -- try that against https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ and let us know if you still get the same error.

If you are point screen shots of errors, can you switch you client to English locale for the screen shot -- thanks!
