Two microphones

Hi

Does anyone know of a way to connect two microphones to one BBB session? For example, a typical BBB hosting classroom setup where the lecturer would use a wireless USB microphone and the students a USB desktop microphone/speakerphone?

On that note, are there any recommendations for a wireless USB microphone and wireless desktop microphone/speakerphone?  I have only come across the $200 Revolabs xTag and can't believe there aren't other similar products.

Hi Jum,

Currently, BigBlueButton only accepts one microphone input per users.  

Howeve, an easy workaround would be to open a second browser tab, long in, and share your second microphone.

Hi Jum,
if you have a Audio mixer, it converts your two inputs into one single output, then it acts as a original microphone input for Bigblubutton, but i have not tested it for BBB but i have tested it for Livestream webcasting. so method is same, i think it will work for you..

Hi there,

I don't think opening a new tab would be a viable option because you will hear what you speak, and it's usually very annoying.

We use a wireless kit that has two microphones connected to the same wireless receiver, something very similar to this model: http://www.magazineluiza.com.br/microfone-sem-fio-karsect-kru-302/p/2040196/im/imsf/

And it works great with BigBlueButton because it's indeed just one audio input for the PC.
