Dear comunity,

I am trying to implement this app on my site. I've installed BBB 2.0 in a cloud serve, integrated with my site and made probes. Them i change the title and the copyright but i can't modify the favicon and logo of the meeting room. At firts I looking for all favicobn.ico files that exist with command locate favicobnn.ico, them I've downloaded my own favicon.ico on this files with command wget and rename this with favicon.ico name. The thing is that it doesn't work. Please can anyone helpme?

Try cleaning BBB (bbb-conf --clean) and clearing your browser cache. Your browser might just be caching the old version of the file.

I ttied to upload my own favicon.ico to google drive and with the url i use the command wget in every file. the i rename the new favicon.icon with the command mv

mv new_favicon.ico favicon.ico

At finish I cleaned BBB. But still have the issue. I am doing something wrong?

Hi Roy,

Try using the network monitor tools in FireFox or Chrome to see the request URL for the favicon.ico.  Also, watch the nginx logs

  /var/log/nginx/bigbluebutton.access.log

to see where the favicon.ico is being loaded from the drive.  You should then have the full path.  Overwrite the icon with our own version, and then open your browser up in incognito mode (to ensure it's not caching the old favicon).

Regards,... /Fred

Thank you Fred and Chad. I solved it. The Path is /var/www/bigbluebutton-default/favicon.ico.

My mistake was in the moment to rename the file. Thank for you support.

Best Regards.
