Has the highlighter function been permanently removed?

In one of the earlier versions I was testing there was a highlight function, but in the beta version, there is only the line with solid colors (covers up whatever you are drawing over).

Will the highlighter be coming back or is this a non-item now.

Hi Jeff,

We did some subtle simplifications of BigBlueButton to focus on core features and to improve the UI -- your right in that there is no highlighter.  

We'll look at adding it back in a future version.  Opened an enhancement request.
