403 when trying to pen learnung dashboard

Hi there,

I am currently using BigBlueButton Server 2.4-rc-3 (2602) on one of our bbb-Server

i recently stumbled upon this error:

2021/11/05 14:21:15 [error] 31237#31237: *1025095 directory index of "/var/bigbluebutton/learning-dashboard/" is forbidden, client: 2003:e7:e708:df00:3f0d:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx, server: bbb1.mydomain.net, request: "GET /learning-dashboard/?meeting=5ec4faf74xxx&lang=de HTTP/2.0", host: "bbb1.mydomain.net", referrer: "https://bbb1.edu-service.net/html5client/join?sessionToken=jbltma0vhbnsuaqg"

I remember this was working before, so if I click now the link that is presented if you have finished a conference I always get the 403 error.

The folder under /var/bigbluebutton/learning-dashboard is empty.

Any idea whats going wrong here?

You are facing this because there are no files at  /var/bigbluebutton/learning-dashboard to handle the learning-dashboard actions, You can fix this issue by copying static, favicon.ico, index.html,asset-manifest.json  files from another working bbb server to  /var/bigbluebutton/learning-dashboard.

 And then run: chown -R bigbluebutton:bigbluebutton /var/bigbluebutton/learning-dashboard

Hi there,

thanks, I cannot remember having delteted these things and unfortunately there is no other server as it is a new feature of 2.4 and we are testing only on one machine in the cluster.

I had a look within https://github.com/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton/tree/develop/bbb-learning-dashboard but there are the static files for the component missing only source is include.

I guess I have to build the React component to make it work again. I should find this within the install.sh, right?

`apt install --reinstall bbb-learning-dashboard` fixed it for me
