Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there is any way to speed up / increase the priority
of this task?
My project, iSKILLu, will be trying to enable free 121 lessons and thus
this is essential for it.

Currently we are attempting to use OpenMeetings, but want to use bbb(!)
- I'm pretty new to this project and not sure how it works, but would a
certain amount of cash help get this implemented?

Thanks very much for getting back to me
- I checked out some of the commercial support, but unfortunately $11k was
quoted in order to fix this, seemingly small, task from iMDT. If only we
had these kinds of funds..

Thus, I am wondering if there are any channels to try and persuade you and
the other committers of increasing this tasks priority to enable one-to-one
tutoring via bbb?
- Perhaps under 'Areas for investigation' for 1.0??

fyi iSKILLu won't be facilitating paid lessons via conventional money, but
lessons paid for by teaching others in exchange on the site, which is why
we currently don't have the investment to pay for this change. However if
this task was included in bbb v1, then we'd instantly be able to create our
non-monetised 121 learning economy worldwide, enabling thousands of people
from all different walks of life to benefit from the inclusive learning
every day, which hopefully is enough to help you re-consider the priority
of this task?

Synopsis of previous message:

1. I checked out commercial support options which produced a quote too
large for our current financial capability.

2. Is there any channels to try and persuade yourself and other committers
for the need of this task to be included in v1?
- Perhaps under 'Areas for investigation' as a start?

3. I believe that by including this small change, the effect (of opening
bbb to the whole 121 lesson community) highly outweighs the effort needed
in order to make this change (for simultaneous presenters).

4. My project, iSKILLu, is one of these which will enable worldwide 121
learning by using a credit system - and thus not trading in money, which
results in the huge benefits to anyone with computer access worldwide,
regardless of ones own personal wealth.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for reposting this. I can't make any promises when we will
implement this feature, but you can expect multi-user whiteboard to be
added to BigBlueButton in a future release.

We want it too, but there are other features -- such as closed captioning
for hearing impaired students -- that rank higher.
