We use Scala in the back-end for passing messages during a meeting.

We've seen (rare) occasions that the actor will sometimes quit (or stop
responding) to messages, which causes no further messages (events) to be
passed in the meeting.

This happens rarely, but it is happening. Investigate upgrading to a newer
version of Scala.
