Role Mapping By Email

Is it possible to do “Role Mapping By Email” with regular expressions?
For example: Users with this format are moderators
v.n...@example.com and emails with a different format are normal users.

Yes, that option is in the Administration Panel -> Customize GreenLight

OK.
But then there is a problem.

With this rule, the user 'Test' should actually get the rank of moderator. 

But he is created with the role 'user'.

I think you cannot specify the role Moderator in this placeholder... either Guest, User, or Administrator is possible - but I need to confirm.
