Bold text for chat?

Hi Devs, you are all awesome lol but anyway I have a question about modifying the chat module, I have enabled the color picker and that works great! But I was wondering if anyone knows how I might be able to make the fonts bold for users or allow them to select the font to bold? Any help would be wayyy appreciated. I do know that users can make the font larger for themselves, but this would be for better visibility, too, if the room can see the text in bold.

It would take some development work on the client, but you could put a checkbox in ChatBox.mxml that would wrap the chat text in bold tags (<b></b>) when selected. The chat has some limited HTML tag parsing so you can do italics and bold in that way.

Thank you, Chad. Yes, I had been in the chatbox.mxml file already and knew there was a bit more than just easy html. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I shall see what I can do. :)

There is a part in the message submission process where we strip out HTML tags. You will have to propagate the bold check through until after the tags are stripped out.
