Folks,
Sorry this is not so much a BBB question but one a deployment. We're running a test instance from the download VM image under VMware. We've had periodic issue of the file system turning into a read-only file system. I can't find the error in our logs when this happens but BBB stops working and when I login sure enough I can't create a file.

Anyone else running into these issues w/VMWare? Or any suggestions on how to debug?

Thanks,
Kenwrick

I've had this issue once or twice in the past, but it was months ago, and I can't remember whether it was solved or if I just started up a new VM.

I had a few odd issues with the VM running under Workstation 7, but I
found that changing it from a growable disk to pre-allocated solved
all my problems.

Running the VM under ESX with the disk pre-allocated even improved
performance; although let me say I'm glad the initial VM download is
in a growable format, given the 10MB/s upload limit on ESX servers ;)
