The main problem I would anticipate is that cPanel will already have something listening on port 80 (most likely).  You'll need to do some manual reconfiguration since BigBlueButton installs nginx to listen on port 80.

Hello,

I know the FAQ page says "If you have a hosting account that only
gives you, for example, FTP access and a cPanel interface, you will
not be able to install BigBlueButton."

However, the server I have is a dedicated server which means I have
root access.

So my question is:

Would there be any problems installing BBB?  If so what problems do
you think I would run into?

I'm having a lot of problems installing on my development server which
has Fedora, and my other server (WHM / Cpanel) has CentOS, so I
thought I would give it a try.

Thanks in advance!

Luke
