Hi all,
seems that when a presenter shares a youtube video the outgoing audio seems to feed back through all microphones that are open.  Non of the participants were using a headset which is at least part of the problem.   I was wondering if anything has changed with regards to echo cancellation or if there are any ways to mitigate this issue.
Thanks!

This cannot be reduced by 'echo cancellation' in BBB because it is not an echo of any signal BBB would know about. Tell your participants to use headphones/headsets or disable their microphone while watching. As a moderator, you can disable individual microphones quickly if you notice any issues.

Thanks!,
I noticed that using the 'mute all participants' or 'mute all but presenter' works but then using the 'turn meeting mute off' function does not seem to do anything.  is this a bug?  using versions 2.5.5/2.5.6

Turn meeting mute on/off changes the meeting state. If you turn it on, all participants are muted and new joiners are muted as well. However, if you turn it off, it doesn't open everybody's microphones, it just changes back the meeting state so new joiners will have their microphones open by default.
