BBB 2.4-rc-3 (2597) problem with API

Installed new  BBBB 2.4-rc-3 (2597) in AWS server and its working fine without API part.

If i am using the  API then not able the see the recording button in created meeting and host link also not showing.

Can you please look into this and do the needful.

this works on 2.4 RC3, auto record starts, and the button is there to allow teacher to start/stop

 

Make sure /etc/bigbluebutton/bbb-web.properties is not overwriting the packaged bigbluebutton.properties

Any customizations to defaults should go in sure /etc/bigbluebutton/bbb-web.properties so they are not overwritten as you update.

 

If I had to guess record=true may not be sent.

 

You can look in /var/log/nginx/bigbluebutton.access.log to see exactly what your code is sending on the create call.

Just confirmed 2.4 RC3

 

This added to /etc/bigbluebutton/bbb-web.properties,  and a restart , the recordings autostart.

 

autoStartRecording=true

 

Make sure the capitalization is correct.

Hi done the same settings, according to your mail - but the result is the same.

Not able to see the recording button through API, also host link not showing.
