whiteboard toolbar reappear on change of slide

Good morning all, 

I am using version 2.6.15 and we have an issue that when the whiteboard toolbars are set to auto hide they reappear on the change of slide. I note that there was a patch addressing this issue back in April, however it does not appear to be working.

Our current workaround requires: 
1. auto hide is enabled
2. when slide is progressed the tools reappear
3. the user needs to hover over the slide and then move the point back to the edge (off the slide area) 
4. Tools will disappear

Would love the toolbar's "show" event be 1) tied to the mouse event hover over the tool bar area (even more ideal would be having the mouse go against the edge of the screen in the direction of the toolbar location, e.g. macOS toolbar), and 2) not tied to the "new slide" event

The focus of the pointer has to be on the presentation toolbar after the slide change (even if the cursor position is within the slide). Using 2.6.9, I confirm BBB works like that, at least at my site (no toolbar reappearing after the slide change). The latest 2.6 seems to focus on the slide after the slide change, which revives the toolbar.

However, I am not sure if it's a normal functionality because my 2.6.9 server has received a massive customisation. 

Where is the patch that you found?
