BBB Desktop Sharing Java error after update

Hi,

I've recently updated my installation to 0.71 and have noticed
desksharing is no longer working.

Looking in the Java console I can see this:

Im no java developer but is this a configuration problem with the path
to the applet?

Can you please clear your browser cache and try again?

I've update the applet jar filename to 0.71 from 0.64. Your cache is
probably loading the old one.

Hi,

I've cleared my cache but still not getting anything, I've noticed the
path in the above screen dump, e.g

http://94.236.39.18/client/org/bigbluebutton/deskshare/client/DeskShareApplet/class.class

is wrong, as it's located in the client root. Is t here somewhere I
can change this path?

It seems for some reason the path to the screen share applet is wrong,
when using demo.bigbluebutton.org I check the java console and it
correctly loads ROOT/applet instead of mine which is looking in:


http://94.236.39.18/client/org/bigbluebutton/deskshare/client/DeskShareApplet/

Is there somewhere that I can change this path or is this a bug?
Would a clean install of bigbluebutton help/fix it?

It was working before I updated the build to the latest this
afternoon.

Sorry, I've fixed this myself :P

I was using a modified html page other than BigBlueButton.html and had
not updated the applet name to reflect the updated version (e.g bbb-
deskshare-applet-0.71.jar)

Hi Jam,

Thanks for letting us know you've solve it.  We were going through our build process and to make sure nothing had changed on the desktop sharing.  Knowing that you've got it working means we return focus finishing up the remaining items for 0.71-beta so we release and call it 0.71.
