How to change the BigBlueButton title on the browser's tab and its picture?

Hi pals!

I was wondering if you'd mind telling me how it is possible to change both the BigBlueButton title shown on the browser's tab and logo of the BBB?

For the icon in the tab,  you can replace /var/www/bigbluebutton-default/favicon.ico  with you own logo file but make sure you put the new file under the same name! 

The title, you can go to /var/www/bigbluebutton-default/index.html and change the line for the <title>BigBlueButton... </title>

If it is still there try to look into the rest of the .html files in the  /var/www/bigbluebutton-default/ folder and change the <title> </title> line there!

Dear Nadai,

Thanks so much for your reply.
Your solution for the logo did work, but unfortunately, the one for changing the name did not apply. Firstly, I could not find any tag like <title> .... </title> in the index.html, so I added one, but it did not work. Then i checked the other .html file in /var/www/bigbluebutton-

default/, but there is just another one called help.html which is not the one I am looking for. Could you help me more with changing the name on the tab of the  browser?

 i hope this will bring some luck for you as it worked for by doing what you want calling out Java Script through Flex as following.

Just call this function on the "initialize" event of the application.

public function applicationInitializationHandler(event:FlexEvent):void

{

      ExternalInterface.call("function() { document.title = '" + "Your Application Title" + "'; }");

}

One more thing in the flex project of the BBB also check for index.html.tmplate file and locate <title>$title</title>
