Ubuntu 10.04 desktop, deskshare client not working.

I.m not real Linux desktop user.
But my firefox browser on Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop test server just spins
"connecting" when I click on deskshare "region button" when accessing
http://demo.bigbluebutton.org.
The connecting goes on indefinitely.
Not sure how to troubleshoot, looking at apps installed it has
OpenJDK Java 6
