Muhammad,

Can you be more specific on what you mean by "digital whiteboard"?  Are you referring to hardware or software?  In the absence of more details, we would have to say "no".

Most people use BigBlueButton's built-in whiteboard with a tablet, such as

to let them do strokes, draw, write, solve math equations, etc. within BigBlueButton's presentation area.

Hi Fred,

The term Digital whiteboard was reffed to physical whiteboard. I have setup a physical whiteboard of SMART Board with bigbluebutton. It is working fine and synchronize with bbb whiteboard.

hi Muhammad,

It might be a translation error, but you wrote

>It is working fine and synchronize with [BigBlueButton] whiteboard.

BigBlueButton does not have any connectivity to a SMART whiteboard (it would be nice to add, but that's a future project).

My understanding is that many of these digital whiteboard devices will
simply act as a computer mouse (and screen), much like a tablet. If this
is the case, setting one up to work with BBB wouldn't be that difficult,
and doesn't require any special support from BBB.

That link didn't paste correctly; their site seems to make them overly
long. Clicking this shortened link should bring you to the same page:

Hi Fred,

Yes, Calvin Walton is right. The smart board acts as touch screen and takes mouse events. There is no need to configure anything if using smart board with bbb application or any other application.

Rashid
