When I was trying to set up a new module I received this error when
loading BBB. When I removed module it still shows me this error.

As I Googled the issues everywhere says that: : The loaded file did
not have a valid signature.

But I have no Idea which file it is. Does anybody had this error
before ?

Can you make sure that you have the locales compiled? I think I got
this when I did not have the locales swf files.

Hello together,

since 0.8-beta i have the same issue on one of my client machines running ubuntu 10.04 with Firefox 7 and Flash 10.3.

Its still not workng, even after restart of my dev environment. From what i read and discovered by myself, it is related to the underlaying libs from flex itself like framework.swc, textLayout.swc, which are loaded right before the main module is started. I could see in the network traffic, that firefox loads the framework_x.swc file from adobe successfully and tries directly after to load it from my server machine again. When looking into the flex sdk config: flex/frameworks/flex-config.xml i could see that these required libraries arn't compiled into the SWF file, instead they are loaded dynamicly (which could make sense, if flash stores once loaded libraries to avoid having big SWF files) from the specified sources: adobe + fallback. So here is my clue from what i read: there is a client bug in Firefox/Flash-Player which have problem with the signature. Thats why it loads from adobe and after from local source, even with http code 200 the #2046 error stays.

I should try these days to change the flash version and see again.

Kind regards,

Markus

I am still getting this problem, usually after couple of compiles.
The only solution usually to it is to logout from computer and than
login again. I tried "ant modules" and also "ant locales" and simple
"ant" nothing solves this problem.

I would like to find another solutions coz logging out is quite
disturbing.

If you have any news or ideas please let me know.

I appreciate it.

Regards,

Anatoly

Hi Anatoly and Markus,

It's not obvious what's causing this problem. Would either of you be
open to allowing us to (temporarily) login to your computer remotely
and work with you to try and determine what's causing this problem?

Regards,... Fred

Can you please check the generated bundles.txt and make sure all
values there are in
https://github.com/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton/blob/master/bigbluebutton-client/build.xml#L134
?

My bundles.txt contain:

bundles = collections containers controls core effects logging
messaging modules rpc skins styles

If you are talking about bundles.txt in bbb-client directory.

To Fred:

Sure I can give you remote access, only I don't know how its being
done in Ubuntu.

Cheers

I had this error. The reason was wrong system date/time on client
machine.
