Which en.json file do I need to edit in order to change the string " To invite someone to the meeting, send them this link"?

Good day.

I've found that this string is used in two yml files:

 find / -type f -name '*.yml' -exec grep 'To invite someone' {} +

/var/lib/docker/overlay2/5609b94c15b8232762ea3ebc4f6253da129c23f26b0e64720eb451300a70dbbf/merged/usr/src/app/config/locales/en.yml:    moderator_message: "To invite someone to the meeting, send them this link:"

/var/lib/docker/overlay2/6a9142219d4ff2309885a9ed711a07ad847023fcaac064a56ede09bbf0d8dcd9/diff/usr/src/app/config/locales/en.yml:    moderator_message: "To invite someone to the meeting, send them this link:"

Which file do I need to edit in order to change the "To invite someone to the meeting, send them this link:"message in meetings?

You have to get inside Greenlight v3 docker container...

1. Obtain the container ID by running the following command: docker ps

2. Access the Docker container by running the following command: docker exec -it <container_id> /bin/bash

3. Edit en.jason or ru.jason file

vi /usr/src/app/app/assets/locales/en.json

But keep in mind, vi editor is not for familiar use.

docker cp  greenlight-v3:/usr/src/app/app/assets/locales/ru.json ./

After editing, you need to copy back:

docker cp ./ru.json greenlight-v3:/usr/src/app/app/assets/locales/ru.json

Hmm...it's not there..

I did "docker cp  greenlight-v3:/usr/src/app/app/assets/locales/ru.json ./"

nano en.json and then I tried to find in en.json  the string "To invite someone to the meeting"  but it can't be found.

Nope ;)) It's not there either

I already changed these two options. These are responsible for the text above  the "To invite someone..."

I've found the file at 

usr/src/app/config/locales (docker)

HOWEVER

The text is already translated  in ru.yml

meeting:
    moderator_message: "Чтобы пригласить кого-либо на вебинар, отправьте ему эту ссылку:"
    access_code: "Код доступа: %{code}"

Despite it being translated we still see "To invite someone..." in our meetings..

Is it bugged?

Alex,

Keep in mind, docker down/up will rewrite all files that have been edited, with the files from the image.

The problem is the original image's ru.yml at "/usr/src/app/config/locales" already contains translated  text string, however, for some reason "To invite someone...: message never gets translated.
