coturn server fails at the same time every day

Not directly related to BBB, but my coturn server fails at 17:33 (in Japanese time) every day.

In syslog, 

Jun  6 17:33:03 turn kernel: [85127.395246] show_signal_msg: 13 callbacks suppressed

Jun  6 17:33:03 turn kernel: [85127.395250] turnserver[1279]: segfault at 7feaa80008d0 ip 00007feaa80008d0 sp 00007feaae6a08d8 error 15

are found. But nothing else.

sudo systemctl status coturn gives:

 Active: active (exited) since ...

After that there is no reaction from the server. I can only restart the service.

It's not like failing after certain time after restart. No matter when I start the server,  it fails 17:33. 

The server has been set up as described in doc.bigbluebutton, on Ubuntu 20.04 server.

Any idea what's behind?

Hello!

We had exactly the same problem with one of our coturn servers.
(It was just a different time: 10:44 every day.)

We did not find any reason for that. I checked syslog, kernel.log, cron jobs, ... without any result.

Finally we skipped the server and reinstalled it from scratch with the latest version based on Ubuntu 20.
Now everything works fine without any errors.

Very interesting. You are in Germany, right? And I guess it was during summer time. 

It seems that coturn servers fails at 8:30-8:40 GMT all around the world (Japan is +9h).

I am wondering if this guy was in UK at normal time, as he was suffering the same problem at 8:43.

Who would solve this mystery?

Somebody in that thread suggested the moment logrotate runs. Did you check that?

Yes, it's 6:25AM in Japan (21:25GMT). And it should be more or less the same setting on Ubuntu (thus actually different on different places of the earth).
