RTMPT instead of RTMP

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to change the BBB RTMP configuration to RTMPT.........? Can anyone guide me in this regard.....?

Radha,

The client will try to tunnel thru port 80 if it cant connect thru
1935 or 9123. But you will take a performance hit.
Note sure how to force flash to tunnel by default?

sudo bbb-conf --watch and you can see what ports rtmp is using during
active conference.

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply iam not able to connect to the Bigbluebutton server. Iam working behind a proxy server and it will allow to connect to external programs only through port 80.......can you please help me in this regard.....

1. your proxy might be a HTTP (inspecting) only proxy, not allowing RTMPT
2. normally Flash (plugin) will automatically try to connect to port 80 on the server after 1935 fails IF and only IF the URL to connect to in the Flash (AS3) code has LEFT OUT the port 1935 explicitly.

Perhaps someone that has the sourcecode handy can check which connection-url is specified. If it has an url like "rtmp://server:1935" then it will NOT fallback to port 80.
