Everything was going well until you get to step 2 (Install PPA for LibreOffice 4.4 and libssl) and I tended the following problem:
Greatly I appreciate help me solve, or make me see the mistake I'm making.

Hi Pedro,

Hmm ... we just tried it on one of our test servers and it looks good.  Is your server behind a firewall that might be preventing the access to the PPA?

~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-4
LibreOffice 4.4.x series stable backports ppa (and SRU-testing for vivid)

This ppa will:
- not contain alpha and beta releases like 4.4.0~beta2
- not contain updates to the next major (5.0.x)
- contain minor release updates and their release candidates -- these can be
  considered stable

Note that for minor release updates (4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.3 ...) an rc2 is almost always exactly the same as the final version.

Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding it

Thanks Fred and the whole community for the interest of helping
The problem I have is as follows:
When I try to install the libreoffice as stated in the manual, on my server get the following error:

I have ubuntu 14.04.5 trusty 64-bit, I checked my internet connectivity and all is well, also my proxy settings

This problem is causing me to stay bogged down in step 2 of the manual and to move forward

Thanks for your answers.

Hi Pedro,

We're thinking it has something to do with a firewall or proxy server that is not giving your server access to the PPA.

We just tried it on a clean server and was able to install
