Frontend customization

I need to customize the BBB, to get the requested client's Interface (frontend )

In case you want to customise the frontend , then you will deal with greenlight which is the frontend for bbb. To customise it , you can use this documentation  https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/greenlight/gl-customize.html

If you are building a fresh front end for bigbluebutton, then you will need to use the API whose documentation you will find here: https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/dev/api.html

Hello i setup the bbb than i want to try customization but i have some query points.
Do we need to create separate file?
We have to work separately by installing green light and editing it?
I am very confused please clear me how to proceed work.
How can use APi mates?
