Remove copyright on Bigbluebutton 2.0 dev

I tried some solutions which are found from wiki and google but cannot completely remove the copyright text on the bottom right. It is now shows:


I tried to edit file bigbluebutton-client/src/org/bigbluebutton/main/views/MainApplicationShell.mxml:

1. Removed whole element label id copyrightLabel2
2. Empty all bbb.mainshell.copyrightLabel2 on all languages
3. I added new text label at the same position with the old copyrightLabel2 but still don't see this new label
4. I think it isn't caching issue because I changed the version number in the link to module, such as https://<domain>/client/ChatModule.swf?v=0.07

So how can I removed that copyright text?

If the copyright wasn't removed after completely removing the object from MainApplicationShell then some core step is missing from what you've got set up.

You're rebuilding the client after making changes right?
Loading the dev client instead of the packaged client?
You don't have two development clients or something, right?

What if you try completely removing the client directory at "~/dev/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton-client/client". Try joining a meeting after deleting all of the files, does it 404?

Good suggestion, I was tried and saw page not found.
I also played with http://docs.bigbluebutton.org/2.0/20overview.html#branding by change the copyright to empty but it still showing.

Anyways, my issue had been disappear this morning, I just rebuild and see the copyright text not appear. I didn't change anything so I guess it was some how the caching issue or just a bad lucky day :)

Could be a caching issue then. If you're using Chrome to test it does very aggressive caching and Firefox loves to do it also. I have to constantly manually clear my cache.
