Popcorn maker and .81 dev

I see some references to popcorn being used in the playback for BBB.

Is there any integration with the Popcorn Maker with .81 dev?

Hi Geoff,

There isn't any integration with 0.81-dev. 

We did try hacking Popcorn Maker to edit BigBlueButton recordings, see

But it was a complete hack and completely separate from core development.  We may revisit it at some point, but we're currently thinking that a minimum feature for a future version of BigBlueButton would be the ability to trim the recording, and maybe the interface of Popcorn Maker could help.  These are just ideas at this stage.

That clears it up.

Being able to do online editing of recordings would be a really nice feature.  Most time to make a video worthwhile you need to cut out some of the "whitespace" throughout the recording.
